RYA Push The Boat Out Campaign

 

This is the first year that SOYC has taken part in this RYA campaign and we are really excited to be able to share our love of sailing with you, your family and friends.

Have you always wanted to try sailing or have just not had the opportunity for a while?

Come and join us on the Saturday 19th May or Tuesday 22nd May.

We are offering a half day sail with experienced crew on one of our club yachts for just £25 per person.

Sessions must be pre-booked.

09.00 to 12.30    or      13.00 to 16.30

A few things you need to know:-

• Everyone is welcome but you must be at least 8 years old (8yrs to 17yrs Must be accompanied by a parent / guardian at all times)
• You must be pre-booked and registered as a Temporary Member at least 48hrs before the day of the sail.
• You should wear warm clothing, layers are helpful - it can be cold on the water.
• A waterproof jacket is advisable.
• Shoes should be non slip and have non mark or dirty soles.

We will provide:-

• Life-jackets
• Tea, coffee, water, snacks
• Experienced crew and a safe environment.
• An opportunity to take part in some of the tasks required on board or just a nice half day sail.
